Attention KWVA 2025 Reunion Attendees

Dear Members,

It is with sincere regret that I inform you the in-person Board and General Membership Meeting originally scheduled for October in San Antonio has been canceled.

Instead, we will host the meeting virtually via Zoom to encourage broader participation and ensure that everyone’s voice can be heard. The exact date and time of the Zoom meeting will be announced soon. Please watch your inbox for updates.

If you’ve already made a reservation at the Menger Hotel, please cancel it promptly to avoid any unwanted charges. The Board felt it was essential to maximize attendance for several important agenda items that will help shape the future direction of our organization. A virtual meeting format allows every member—regardless of travel limitations—to engage fully in these key decisions.

Additionally, many members have expressed interest in holding future meetings in Washington, D.C., so they may participate in a wreath-laying ceremony at the Korean War Memorial—a fitting tribute to our shared legacy.

If you're unfamiliar with Zoom, we recommend doing a quick test run ahead of time to ensure your setup is ready when the meeting begins. Strong participation in our General Membership meeting helps the Board gain a clearer understanding of your views and priorities. Your involvement is vital as we continue to move forward together.

I apologize for any inconvenience this change may cause, and I thank you for your continued support. We look forward to connecting with you virtually.

Respectfully,

David Pickett
KWVA National President
