Each Memorial Day and Veterans Day, when the Korean War Veterans Association (KWVA) Command Staff is in Washington, D.C., a wreath is laid at the Korean War Veterans Memorial to honor the sacrifices of those who served during the Korean War. This solemn tradition recognizes the brave men and women who helped prevent South Korea from falling to communist rule and preserves the legacy of their service. As the remains of Missing in Action (MIA) service members continue to be identified and returned home, the KWVA remains committed to ensuring that no Korean War veteran is ever forgotten. Through the Wreath Program, we honor their service, their sacrifice, and their enduring place in our nation’s history.
Individuals, chapters, and organizations are invited to participate in this meaningful tribute by sponsoring a wreath. The cost to sponsor a wreath is $300. Your sponsorship helps ensure this honored tradition continues and that the sacrifices of Korean War veterans are remembered and respected. If you or your chapter would like to sponsor a wreath, please mail a check payable to the "Korean War Veterans Association" to:
